Yarn: Himalaya Dolphin Baby or YarnArt Dolce and YarnArt Jeans or Gazzal Baby Cotton
Hook size: 3.5 mm for plush yarn, 2.5 mm for cotton yarn
Black cotton yarn or embroidery floss for eyes and nose
Tapestry needle and scissors
Stitch marker
Fiberfill

Abbreviations

R = row
mc = magic circle
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
inc = 2 sc in the next stitch

dec = single crochet 2 stitches together
(12) = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row
(…) * 6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated

Head

Start crocheting with semi-cotton yarn and 2.5 mm crochet hook:
R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
R 2: (inc) * 6 (12)
R 3: (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18)
R 4: (2 sc, inc) * 6 (24)

R 5: (3 sc, inc) * 6 (30)
R 6: (4 sc, inc) * 6 (36)
R 7-11: 36 sc (5 rows)
R 12: (4 sc, dec) * 6 (30)
R 13: (3 sc, dec) * 6 (24)

R 14: 24 sc
Change to plush yarn:
Crochet not tightly with 2.5 mm crochet hook and plush yarn or increase the hook size (3.0 mm).
R 15: 24 sc
Change to 3.5 mm crochet hook:

Crochet with 3.5 mm crochet hook and plush yarn.
R 16-19: 24 sc (4 rows)
R 20: (2 sc, dec) * 6 (18)
Stuff with fiberfill.

Don’t stuff with fiberfill.

Change to 3.5 mm crochet hook:
Crochet with 3.5 mm crochet hook and plush yarn.
R 2-10: 34 sc (9 rows)

Stuff the legs with fiberfill.
R 11: make dec on the sides of the body (32)
R 12: make dec on the sides of the body (30)
R 13: make dec on the sides of the body (28)

R 14: make dec on the sides of the body (26)

Stuff with fiberfill.

Assembly

Sew the head to the body using cotton yarn. Stuff firmly the neck area.
Sew the arms to the body using cotton yarn.
Sew the ears on the sides of the head.
Embroider eyes and nose with black cotton yarn or embroidery floss.
